This project, in the heart of Beverly Hills, was a conversion project from a 1970's style Persian residence into an English Cottage style, meeting the city's criteria for design review approval. The guesthouse was also remodeled into a Craftsman Bungalow. XA Architecture Company was brought on board by the general contractor during the very early phases of demolition prior to the program being developed. The project evolved into a two-year "fast-track" with the architecture and permits being completed just ahead of the various phases of construction. The entire house and site were modified to create a comprehensive home and landscape. Historic design and detailing research were utilized and is evident in the completed work.
